Call for Papers
(deadline August 1, 2015)
We are delighted to host the 7th Ultrafest in Hong Kong. We invite papers on all aspects of ultrasound-based vocal tract imaging, with topics in phonetics, phonology, speech science, image processing, second language learning, speech and language therapy, etc. Abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific panel.
There is a rather early deadline for preliminary abstracts to be submitted, namely August 1st, 2015, with notification of acceptance on September 3. This early deadline is designed to help people arrange their travel, and for us to plan for numbers. Abstracts can be updated later. There will be a charge for registration for attending the conference.
The venue will be the University of Hong Kong's Centennial Campus, a 5-minute trip (by elevator, escalator, and foot) from the newly-opened University of Hong Kong MTR Station (香港大學站). The conference is hosted by the University of Hong Kong Department of Linguistics.
